after it's alright
^first time played.

the first new song was fantastic. melissa
introduced it by talking about how she finally got
central air conditioning, but now it's leaking, and
the song was about sleeping next to someone in the
heat, if i recall. the second new song was the one
she played at passim on... sunday, maybe. the burn
this guitar was a lot more plaintive than the one in
the first set, and the transitions between the songs
towards the end of the set were incredible. i wish
she'd do more of them, as much as i like the stories
between songs.

also, at one point she said "there are few things in
the world that make me happier than that b string."
