MLE played at VH1's "Concert of the Century for VH1 Save the Music"
on the South Lawn of the White House on October 23, 1999

Bono was supposed to appear with BB, but had to drop out for some unknown reason.
MLE was a last minute replacement.

It was also at this concert that MLE approached Jann Wenner, the publisher of Rolling Stone, and told him that
she wanted to divulge the father of her children. This resulted in the "New American Family"
cover issue a few months later.

Portions of this show were shown on VH1 right after 9/11 and repackaged as "Concert for America."
